Some Western NC roads have been impacted by Hurricane Isaias, including US Highway 441 in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, NC Highway 9 near Bat Cave and US Highway 221 near West Jefferson. Visitors are advised to be aware of their surroundings, use extreme caution when encountering water on the roadway, do not drive through flooded areas or pools of standing water, and do not drive around barricades. Use DriveNC.gov for additional information on current conditions.
