Yadkin Valley Golf & Wine Packages

Cedarbrook Country Club is one of three golf courses featured in the Yadkin Valley Golf & Wine Experience

In the Yadkin Valley region of North Carolina, fairways pair with chardonnays to offer couples, families and friends a new golfing destination.

The Yadkin Valley Golf & Wine Experience features an assortment of pre-arranged and custom packages beginning at $207 per person that combine golf, winery visits and places to stay in North Carolina’s burgeoning wine country. The Yadkin Valley, located about 45 minutes northwest of Winston-Salem, features highly regarded golf courses and more than 35 wineries.

Now in its third year, the Yadkin Valley Golf & Wine Experience is anchored by three golf courses: Cedarbrook Country Club in State Road, Cross Creek Country Club in Mount Airy and Olde Beau Golf Course in Roaring Gap.

Featured wineries include Dobson-based Shelton Vineyards, the largest family-owned estate winery in North Carolina; Round Peak Vineyards and Old North State Winery in Mount Airy; Grassy Creek Vineyard & Winery in State Road; and the newly opened JOLO Winery & Vineyards in Pilot Mountain.

You can also visit Mount Airy - the real town that inspired Andy Griffith's Mayberry - to visit the Andy Griffith Museum, take a Squad Car Tour, or see other sights for a nominal fee.

To complete your golf and wine weekend getaway, choose from five places to stay: Hampton Inn Mount Airy, Fairfield Inn Elkin, the Cabins at White Sulphur Springs, Rockford Inn Bed & Breakfast and Klondike Cabins at Grassy Creek Vineyards.
