The Spa at Fearrington

The Spa at Fearrington in Pittsboro

Situated south of Chapel Hill in Pittsboro, Fearrington Village and the famed Fearrington House Inn also features the award-winning Spa at Fearrington.

The nearly 4,000-square-foot facility overlooks the Village Center and fronts a courtyard apothecary garden. Inside, the Spa has a large studio for manicures and pedicures, and four private treatment rooms for massage, facials and other treatments. The Spa also includes a boutique shop offering skin care and apothecary products, simple chic apparel and luxury home goods. The store, called Haven, also serves as the Spa’s reception and greeting area.

The feel of the Spa is that of a Swedish farmhouse, where interiors are full of light, rooms are characteristically gray-washed in soft color, furniture is simple, floors are bare and space is unfussy. The designers created the Spa to evoke an emotional reaction where you feel yourself settle and let go.

The Spa is popular not only with day visitors and leisure travelers staying at the Inn, but also with corporate groups and wedding parties who want the complete retreat experience.

The Spa at Fearrington offers a range of treatments, including massage, facials, manicures and pedicures, and is open to guests staying at The Fearrington House Country Inn, as well as the general public.

Most skincare products used in the Spa are provided by Elemis, a leading British luxury spa and skincare brand. Elemis was launched in the early 1990s by three London-based spa experts working in consultation with Jan Kusmirek, one of the world’s leading authorities on organic ingredients and medicinal plant extracts. His expertise has enabled Elemis to discover some of the world’s most cutting-edge ingredients and manufacturing techniques, improvements that ensure every product delivers maximum results.

The Spa is conveniently located next to The Fearrington Granary, Fearrington Village’s daytime restaurant. This popular spot features a convenient lunch or brunch option before or after a treatment. It has been voted a Top 50 brunch restaurant nationally by the diners of OpenTable. Of course, The Fearrington House Restaurant – a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Restaurant - remains one of the region’s top choices for farm-to-fork dining.
