Q. What kind of content does VisitNC.com syndicate via RSS?
A. VisitNC.com is offering three feeds in the RSS format. These are Press Releases, Events and Travel News. The feeds are free of charge. Attribution (included in each feed) is appreciated.

Q. I’m seeing a strange error message when I try to subscribe. What does it mean?
A. Please send us feedback with information specific to the error and we will investigate.

Q. Why don’t I have any new headlines today?
A. Depending on the information you requested, there may not be anything to send you every day. We try to be mindful of providing valuable content so we may not have something new each day.

Q. When I click on a headline, it says that it’s no longer valid. Why?
A. Our information is generated frequently but your RSS reader may be displaying older content. Try refreshing your feed to get the most current information.

Q. I’m having problems getting my headlines to display correctly. What’s going on?
A. Some users have reported that their titles aren’t displaying when they first subscribe. This problem will resolve itself in about a day. Other users have reported that they get an error when they first click to subscribe. Hitting refresh will often fix this problem.

Q. I’m having problems with my RSS reader.
A. We do not support the readers; we only supply the feeds. If the feed you want is not coming through to your reader and you’ve contacted their support team and it is not a problem on their end, send us feedback and we will try to troubleshoot.
