The art of tradition

Established in 1946 and owned by members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, Qualla Arts and Crafts is the oldest Native American cooperative in the US. Every handwoven basket, carving, beadwork piece or piece of pottery tells of a practice rooted in creating art from nature, a story older than the road that brought you there.
