Dare County Regional Airport

Located just 18 driving miles from First Flight Airport and the Wright Brothers National Memorial, the airport has a lot to offer those visitors to our community. With the North Carolina Aquarium located at the entrance to the terminal, the airport's location rests on the waterfront. At the waters edge, the airport borders the beach that has a lifeguard from Memorial Day to Labor Day, an open air pavilion on the sound with charcoal grills, picnic tables, and a restroom all overlooking the sandy beach.
