RagApple Lassie Vineyards & Guest House

RagApple Lassie Vineyards cordially invites you to come hear our story, taste our award-winning wines, have lunch in the Back Door Cafe, savor a glass of wine on the patio, enjoy live music on Saturday, or just relax amid the ambiance of RagApple Lassie! We're located in the Yadkin Valley Appellation, nestled in the foothills of North Carolina's majestic Blue Ridge Mountains in the town of Boonville. RagApple Lassie Vineyards, named for third generation farmer Frank Hobson's Grand Championship 4-H Show Calf, was conceived and built by Frank Hobson and his wife, Lenna, as their Plan "B" to ensure that this hundred-year-old tobacco farm remained agricultural, profitable, and intact for future generations. Plan a relaxing getaway at Hobson House, the ancestral home of Frank Hobson Jr., located on the RagApple Lassie Vineyards property. Built for Frank's mother as a bride, this circa 1930 bungalow-style brick home boasts three large bedrooms: one king and two queens; a cook's kitchen complete with dishwasher; dining room, living room, den, free internet, cable TV, a front porch, and a backyard swing! Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need, including luxury linenes, for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Two night minimum stay and reservations are required. RagApple Lassie Vineyards grows French vinifera grapes "Southern Style" and this very eclecticism makes the growing of traditional European grapes on an old Southern farm seem perfectly natural, which is, of course, the "hoof print" of all things RagApple Lassie! Come see for yourself!
