Benson Museum of Local History
Established in 1987 to collect, preserve and display items of historical significance related to the Benson area, the collection includes railroad memorabilia, antiques, quilts, and farming and hardware artifacts. In Johnston County from I-95, Exit 79,and from I-40, Exit 325, the museum is a part of the Farm Heritage Trail.
