Morehead Planetarium and Science Center
Morehead Planetarium & Science Center's digital multimedia and "live" planetarium shows, exhibits, science demonstrations, field trip programs, skywatching sessions, family science days and other activities. Facilities include a 68-foot planetarium dome, science stage, giant sundial, rose garden and gift shop. UNC Visitors Center and Morehead Observatory are also on site. Tickets $7.25 adults and $6 children, students and seniors.

Special Directions: Take exit 270 (HWY 15-501) towards Chapel Hill. After a one and half miles, the road forks. Stay to the right and get on Franklin Street. The Morehead Center is 2.5 miles on the left on Franklin Street.
