Alexander Dickson House - Hillsborough Visitors Center
This 18th century Quaker-plan Farmhouse is known as the "Last Headquarters of the Confederacy," and features exhibits, gift shop and an 18th and 19th century medicinal and herbal garden. Guided and self-guided tours available. Serves as Hillsborough Visitors coordinated by the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough, a private non-profit.
