Allison Woods is open by appointment at any time of the year with weekend educational and entertainment programs for the public and group tours. Allison Woods promises its visitors a unique opportunity to explore and learn about nature and the native habitats of the Piedmont while enjoying the serenity of the hardwood forests and gardens. Allison Woods is also the site of Civil War reenactments and skirmishes as well as living history events and demonstrations. Alison Woods is also available for rental special events, weddings, corporate and other gatherings.

Special Directions: Interstate 77 ... From South Carolina travel into North Carolina to Exit 54. Turn right onto Highway 21 North. Travel 3 miles on Highway 21 North (Turnersburg Highway). Cross the South Yadkin River Bridge and immediately to your right there will be a dirt road (Allison Woods Drive). Follow the signs. If traveling from Virginia, take Interstate 77 South to Exit 54 and turn left onto Highway 21 North. Interstate 40...Follow Interstate 40 to Interstate 77 North to exit Exit 54 and turn onto Highway 21 North and travel approximately 3 miles. After you cross the Yadkin River Bridge the entrance will be immediately on your right. Signs will be posted at the entrance (Allison Woods Drive)
