Cape Lookout Lighthouse
Built in 1859, the Cape Lookout Lighthouse is located on the Cape Lookout National Seashore. There is a Light Station Visitor Center and Keepers Quarters Museum also on the premises. The lighthouse is open for climbing on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from May 16 – Sept. 22. Climbs will begin every 15 minutes from 10:00 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Please be aware that tickets to climb are required. Advance reservations are available by calling us to reserve. Climbers who are 12 years old or younger must be accompanied by someone 16 years of age or older.
