Hickory Ridge Living History Museum
Living history recreated by volunteers in 18th century attire, working with traditional tools, engaged in hearthside cooking, candlemaking, weaving and other activities, all in five original mountain log cabins. Gift shop on site. Open Saturday mornings 9am - 12pm, May through October. Also open 5:30-8:00 p.m. daily (except Mondays) during the "Horn in the West" outdoor drama season, late-June through mid-August. Private group tours with activities, available year-round to large groups by appointment (four-week notice required; please call for more information).
