LeGrand Center

The spectacular new LeGrand Center is a technologically advanced, multi-use facility featuring 40,000 square feet of conference space set within the new 89,000 square-foot building.

The Center’s meeting and event space is designed around a state-of-the-art system of custom-manufactured Skyfold Walls that create up to seven separate rooms by retracting vertically into the ceiling in minutes! This unique approach to flexible meeting space is one of the largest installations of Skyfold Walls in the world and provides independent lighting control and superior acoustics in an atmosphere of modern sophistication.

Integrated cutting-edge conference technology is incorporated throughout the facility and features property-wide WiFi supported by a massive one gigabyte of bandwidth to provide consistent connectivity while great effort was made to provide a design and ambiance that works for every type of event. The meeting and event rooms reflect a balance of high-tech and soft-touch by blending warm neutral tones and cool colors with sharp and modern architectural influences.

From the Charlotte Area or eastern NC: Take exit 10B. Merge onto US-29 S/US-74 W/Andrew Jackson Hwy. toward Kings Mountain/Shelby. Continue to follow US-74 W/Andrew Jackson Hwy. (12 miles). Turn right onto East Marion St. (1.1 miles). The LeGrand Center will be on the left. From Asheville or Western NC: Take I-26 to Hwy 74 East (38.2 miles). Remain on 74 East into Shelby (44.3 miles). Turn left onto E. Marion St. (1 mile). The LeGrand Center will be on the left. From Hickory Area: Head South on US-321 South. Take the ramp to Kings Mountain. Merge onto I-85 S (6.3 miles). Take Exit 10B to merge onto US-74 W./Andrew Jackson Hwy toward Kings Mountain/Shelby. (11.6 miles). Turn right on E. Marion St. (1 mile). The LeGrand Center will be on the left. From Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport: Head Southwest on Jetport Rd. toward Gsp. Dr. Merge onto I-85 N. via the ramp to Spartanburg. (40.3 miles). Take Exit 96 for Hwy 18 toward Shelby. Continue to follow Hwy. 18 N. entering North Carolina. (7.3 miles). Turn right onto Hwy 180 N/S Post Rd. (5.1 miles). Take a slight right to stay on Hwy 180 S/S Post Rd. (1.5 miles). Turn right onto E. Dixon Blvd. (1.1 miles). Turn left onto E. Marion St. (1 mile). The LeGrand Center will be on the left. From South Carolina: Head north on I-77 N. and enter North Carolina. Take exit 1 for I-485 (1.2 miles). Follow signs for Goode Fwy/I-485 Inner and merge onto I-485 Inner (9.6 miles). Take exit 10 for I-85 toward Spartanburg/Greensboro (0.6 miles). Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-485 Inner N/Statesville (0.4 miles). Take exit 10B on the left to merge onto I-85 S toward Gastonia/Spartanburg (19.9 miles). Take exit 10B to merge onto US-74 W/Andrew Jackson Hwy toward Kings Mountain/Shelby (11.6 miles). Turn right onto E. Marion St. (1.1 miles). The LeGrand Center will be on the left.
