Moss Lake

More than 2,000 acres with 57 miles of shoreline, 1,660 acres of water. Lake depth is average 50 ft. There are 10 public boat ramps. Moss Lake was established in 1974 and serves as an active recreational destination for boaters, fishermen and water tournaments. The lake is stocked with bass and crappie.

Moss Lake hosts the annual "Over The Mountain Triathlon" which is a national qualifier. Numerous fishing tournaments are held each year at Moss Lake. Campgrounds and picnic areas are available. Restaurants and cultural activities can be enjoyed year round.
