Banner Elk Winery and The Villa

Located in Banner Elk, our winery processes locally grown grapes into excellent wines reflecting the unique characterizations of the Appalachian Mountains. We produce Seyval Blanc, Chardonnay, Banner Elk White, Nouveau Francesco, Banner Elk Red, and a Cabernet Sauvignon (double gold medal winner 2006 NC State Fair) and award-winning Blueberry from estate-grown berries. Stop in for a tasting year around from noon until 6:00 p.m. every day but Mondays.

Nestled amongst the rolling hills, vineyards, and a blueberry orchard is Banner Elk Winery's luxury bed and breakfast, The Villa. Restore your soul in the ambience of our Tuscan inspired Villa. We offer eight beautifully appointed suites, two with private fireplaces. Each features a king- or queen-sized bed adorned in luxurious linens and abundant pillows, private jacuzzi tubs, and thick plush robes. Breathtaking mountain views from every window beckon guests to come explore the High Country. Awaken to the soothing songs of nature and recharge with a complimentary chef-prepared breakfast from the veranda or large round dining table. Guests also receive a complimentary wine tasting. The Villa also offers wireless Internet for our guests.

We're also the perfect venue for your wedding, family reunion, milestone birthday celebration, anniversary party, or your next corporate meeting or retreat. For that special wedding, sites within our winery such as the elegantly rustic Enchanted Barn, the manicured gardens of the Grassy Knoll surrounding the enormous stone fire pit, the blueberry orchard, or the Scenic Vineyard high above the rest of the property ~ each provide a picturesque romantic backdrop to exchange wedding vows.
Our meeting areas are non-commercial spaces that offer the privacy to be productive and discreet.
