Roanoke Rapids Lake Day Use Park

This park offers a public swimming area and is equipped with restroom and concession facilities, walking trails, a beautiful playground, picnic shelters, sand volleyball, a nine-hole Frisbee golf course, and a handicapped accessible fishing pier. The Roanoke Rapids Lake Park is also the best place to catch a beautiful sunrise or sunset over the water. Use of the facility is free of charge, but reservations are encouraged for the picnic shelters, and buses have ample parking.
