Lake James Cellars

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains just minutes from beautiful Lake James, come enjoy a wine tasting from a wide variety of wines. Our specialty is our award-winning dry reds and whites, but we also offer many sweeter fruit wines. Lake James Cellars Winery currently purchases grapes from more than 12 different vineyards in North Carolina. We process our locally grown grapes into excellent wines reflecting the unique characteristics of each variety. Our wine list has something to please everyone from the wine connoisseur to the wine novice. Our gift shop carries local, handmade items by local craftsmen and artists. Be sure to take time to stroll through the aisles of the Old Mill Antiques. You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the front porch.

From Asheville take I-40 East to Exit 100. Turn right onto Jamestown Road for approx 1 mile; turn right onto Conley Road. Turn right onto Main Street (Hwy 70); winery is approx 1/4 mile on the left. Follow signs from I-40.
