Old North State Winery & Brewery

Old North State Winery started as a cooperative in 2002 and has since evolved into a winery owned by two families with one vision. Our vineyards were established on farms that have been in our families for generations. We hope you enjoy the culmination of our dreams, our devotion to our farmland, and our passion for our wines produced at Old North State Winery. Enjoy one of our wine tours Monday thru Saturday typically at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, or by special appointments.

Most of our wines start out as luscious wine grapes grown on Yadkin Valley North Carolina family farms. We are located in Mount Airy, in the headwaters of the Yadkin Valley AVA. Wine, beer and fine foods are our passion and our legacy.

Old North State is the only winery in the state of North Carolina that is a licensed brewery. Our American Style Pale Ale uses Hops grown in Oregon with only natural products and whole grains in our production. Our hand crafted Ales are made in small batches and are available on tap at our tasting bar.

Enjoy a wonderful bite to eat at our Downtown Deli. We offer great food that's fast, fresh and local, specializing in sandwiches and salads plus hot dogs, pizza and specialties off the grill.

Highway 52 North to Highway 89 Exit-Downtown Exit. Take Exit and Keep straight thru five stop lights. Come to Main Street and take a right. The Old North State Winery will be 1 block on the left and follow the signs to the Winery from Highway 52 and to the Mount Airy Visitors Center
