Welcome to Stony Mountain, a family-owned Stanly County winery dedicated to the passion of winemaking. The winery/vineyard sits at the top of Stony Mountain with a panoramic view of the Uwharrie Mountains and the lower Yadkin Valley. The Uwharrie Mountains are believed to be 500 million years old by some geologists. Come have a glass of wine on our deck and share our view of these ancient lands. Join us for wine tasting Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am until 6:00 pm; other days by appointment. We offer European and American varietals. Planning an event? From Albemarle take Hwy 24-27 E 4 miles. Turn left at Stone Mountain sign. Bear right then turn right on Mountain Ridge Rd, go 1 mile.
