I work for Grove Park Inn and out of all the places I have worked Grove Park Inn has the best family values of all. Grove Park Inn is a beautiful place to work. I enjoy my co-workers, they treat me with respect and honor. My boss is the best boss I have ever had. The pay is not the best I have ever received but it is a pay check that many don't get but I am grateful for what I do get. God supplies my needs. The scenery from Grove Park is beautiful. I have never stayed in any of the rooms but from what I have seen they are beautiful. The big fire places they use such big rocks when they built them they are one of a kind. They hold wood 4 feet long and will burn for hours. Fireplaces are massive. Grove Park Inn has several waterfalls and a beautiful golf course. They give you a warm greeting and treat their guests with total respect and honor. Come and see this place to believe it.

I have spent many nights in the accommodations of the Grove Park Inn and I have eaten at least two dozen meals in a variety of their restaurants. That being said, I can assure you that this is a wonderful resort to visit. The views are spectacular, the spa is amazing and the food is world class. I hate that Mr. Moore didn't enjoy his time there and if what he says is truthful, I can ensure you that it is an extremely rare occurrence. Their service has always been excellent and every request has been honored. It is true that they automatically include the tip in your bill, which tells me that your family's dinner was $180 and the total came to $216. It's your standard 20% for fine dining. In addition, comparing any GPI restaurant to Longhorn is the equivalent to comparing a filet mignon to a doggie treat. For those of you looking for a wonderful experience in lodging and dining while visiting the beautiful Asheville area and Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC, I encourage you to consider the Grove Park. It's an adventure all in itself...not to mention the fantastic encounters to be found in the surrounding area!

My family and I went to Ashville on December 21,2009. Went there specifically to go to Grove Park Inn for a nice supper. This was the worst supper I have had in a long time. We would much rather gone to Longhorns than to eat there. I had Prime Rib and it was luke warm and possibly the toughest piece of meat i have ever eaten. My wife had a grilled pork chop which was actually tougher than my steak. Im not sure that it wasnt a piece of shoe leather that accidentally got dropped on the grill. The service was just under the service you would expect at Waffle House. All of this "Fine Dinning Experience" cost me about $240.00. Wow what a deal. Included in my deal was a $36.00 tip, which might have been worth $8.00. Dont waste your time.
