Built in two parts - 1815 is the date established for the construction of the first part of the house. This mountain-crafted Federal and Greek Revival architecture private home has remained in virtual unaltered condition for almost two centuries. With a mortise-and-tenon structure, the house has been revived as a house-restoration museum. Docent tours are Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 1-4 June until mid-October.
