We are located in the Village of Linville Falls adjacent to the 90-foot waterfalls and the Linville Gorge Wilderness area, the deepest cut in the earth’s surface in Eastern America. It is a short drive to Linville Caverns, Grandfather Mountain and all major attractions in the High Country. While you are here you can enjoy miles of premier hiking trails, birdwatching, viewing natures flora and fauna, fishing, backpacking, snow tubing and much more!
The Lodge, built of local stone and yellow pine by our family in 1937, boasts our "Sweet Dreams" beds, fluffy duvet comforters, sparkling clean title baths and in-room coffee and tea service.
Our restaurant was established in 1978 at Linville Falls Lodge as a small sandwich restaurant with a walk-up counter and window. As our business grew, and our family grew, we added the outside covered deck, a new dining room and moved to a full-service restaurant. When were were finally able to serve “spirits” we added a full service bar and an extensive wine and beer list along with a great selection of liquors.
We have nine rooms in our Lodge and one and two bedroom cottages. In addition, we have a six-bedroom Manor House with 2-baths - handicapped accessible & ADA approved with a wrap-around porch. This cottage also has a washer and dryer and all the comforts for a relaxing mountain getaway making it suitable for large families and groups.
