*82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum - tells the history of the 82nd from WWI (pre-airborne) to today.
*JFK Special Forces Museum - the history of the special forces and psychological operations.
*Longstreet and Shady Grove Churches and cemeteries - many Civil War dead buried on site. Highlights how people worshipped in the 18th and 19th centuries. (contact Cultural Resources at 910-396-6680 to arrange a tour.)
*Monroe's Crossroads Battlefield - began at dawn on March 10, 1865, as LTG Wade Hampton's Confederate cavalrymen stormed BMG H. Judson Kilpatrick's Union cavalry encampment at the Charles Monroe plantation. See canons and other artiliary. (contact Cultural Resources at 910-396-6680 to arrange a tour.)
*Iron Mike - the paratrooper Icon stands ready at the entrance of Ft. Bragg
* Sicily Drop Zone - watch paratroopers training. (call for schedule)
*Special Operations Memorial Plaza
Features the Special Warfare Memorial Statue and memorial stones donated by Special Operations veterans groups. A memorial wall honors Special Operations soldiers killed in the line of duty.
