Wilkes Community College is committed to providing comprehensive education & educational support services for Wilkes, Ashe & Alleghany county students and beyond w/a variety of services + cultural activities that improve the quality of life. WCC is a great place to host large events because of the Watson Stage (outdoor), trails, the Gardens, duck pond and the Walker Center.Specialty gardens include the unique Eddy Merle Watson Garden of the Senses featuring Braille-labeled plants and sculptured music and alphabet walls; the Vernon and Louise Deal Native Gardens containing a one-mile walking trail that includes a duck pond; Ruth Colvard Rose Garden; the Robin Joines Student Plaza and Gardens; The Sara Mills Japanese Garden; a childrens playground; picnic areas.

From US 421 take exit #286B to WCC. 2nd light turn L onto Collegiate Dr. Follow 1/4 mi to campus entrance.
