The pages of Waldensian history told through the outdoor drama "From This Day Forward" unfold with the excitement of high drama. The story reads like a novel - full of mystery, intrigue, danger, suspense, adventure, treachery, courage, sacrifice and much more. "From This Day Forward" is the story of the Waldensians, a religious sect from Italy that migrated to North Carolina in 1893 to establish a colony at Valdese. Fred Cranford, playwright. Performances are Friday and Saturday only, mid-July through mid-August.
