Description

Visit NC's only natural history museum located on a barrier island! Walk through the southeast's largest dry aquarium. Watch a video of nesting sea turtles filmed right on Ocean Isle Beach. Dig in the fossil pit for shark teeth. View impressive collections of sea shells and shark jaws. Marvel at the wildlife dioramas that depict plants and animals of Coastal Carolina's ocean reef, barrier islands, and Green Swamp. Hold live sea stars, sea urchins, and other animals in the Touch Tank. Visit the Nature's Treasures Gift Shop for nature-themed items. Attend afternoon and evening family-oriented programs. Programs and hours are seasonal, so call or check the website for current listings.

All-day admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, $4 for children ages 3-4, and free for ages 2 and under.
