The NC High Country's first ski area. Skiing since 1962. Two quad chairlifts, one double chairlift, one conveyor lift, one handle pull lift. Eleven slopes including three terrain parks. Season: Friday before Thanksgiving through the first Sunday in April. Open seven days a week. Night skiing beginning first Friday in December. Refrigerated Outdoor Ice Skating Arena w/ three sessions daily @ Noon, 2:30 & 7pm. 2200 sets of skis. Equipment rentals, 450 snowboard rentals, clothing rentals & helmet rentals.
