Part nature preserve, part showcase for the best of Southern horticulture, the Garden is in the porcess of implementing a spectacular 40-year master plan. Already completed and open to the public are a stunning Visitor Pavilion and gift shop, more than 110 acres of themed gardens, a dozen sparkling fountains and a grassy outdoor amphitheater for concerts and other events. Open 7 days/week. Group rates available.

From Charlotte, Southbound on I-85: I-85 South to Exit 26 (Belmont-Belmont Abbey). Turn right onto Highway 7 (Main Street). Travel 5 miles through Belmont. Turn left onto NC Highway 279 (South New Hope Road). The Garden will be 3 miles on your right.

Fran, Every season at DSBG is peak. Even during the colder winter moths we have a huge Orchid Spectacular that will warm your spirit. We are always busy with new events and attractions. December at the Garden is breathtaking with our Holiday Lights. There is no bad time of year to visit us, you will always find something blooming.
