A self-guided walking tour of this picturesque town takes you by exquisite waterfront homes, boardwalks and piers, and the historic 1825 Perquimans County Courthouse. Wander a bit through town and discover the community’s waterfront parks, Municipal Park and Missing Mill Park. The home of baseball’s Jim “Catfish” Hunter, the town was selected as one of just two heritage tourism pilot communities in North Carolina and is a North Carolina Main Street community.
