Ellis Maples mastered his craft under the guidance of legendary Donald Ross and then branched out to create some of NC’s top courses. At CCWP, golf enthusiasts enjoy two of Maples' finest works, the Pines (East) and River (West) courses.

At 6,521 yards, the River course is reminiscent of a “northeastern country club” with the elevation changes uncommon to the Sandhills and towering oak trees lining the fairways. Tranquil lakes and streams meander through most of the back nine. Fairways bordered by trees and water, abundant rough and target greens make every shot a premium. Always in great shape, the River course is truly a shot maker’s paradise!

CCWP is 8 miles from the Village of Pinehurst and 70 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Affordable golf packages feature 30+ area golf courses. Group golf outings welcome.
