Carowinds’ Carolina Cobra

Thrill seekers, rejoice! The Carowinds theme park in Charlotte is now open for the season, and has a brand-new one-of-a-kind scream machine. Riders on this ‘boomerang’ rollercoaster are pulled up a steep lift hill and sent diving into a 120-foot drop, speeding into three inversions. When the Cobra reaches the end of the line, riders are pulled up another steep hill and sent into the inversions again…except this time in reverse!
