The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Center
Located on Topsail Island, this Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to the care and release of sick and injured sea turtles. The Center's volunteers survey the area's 26 miles of coastline every morning to identify sea turtle tracks and nests. The nonprofit organization is open to the public so that they can meet the patients and learn more about the health and safety of sea turtles.
