Merchants Millpond State Park
Merchants Millpond State Park is one of North Carolina's rarest ecological communities. Massive cypress & gum trees covered with Spanish moss form a canopy for the dark waters of the 750-acre cypress millpond -a wilderness sanctuary for wetland wildlife.
