Jockey's Ridge State Park – Sand Dune

Rising 110 feet, Jockey's Ridge in Nags Head (NC) is the tallest active sand dune on the east coast. Jockey's Ridge State Park offers opprtunities for hiking, hang gliding, kite flying and sunset watching over Roanoke Sound.
