NC Pottery Center - "Museums in a Minute"

The North Carolina Pottery Center, which opened its doors in 1998, is the first state pottery center in the nation. With a mission to promote public awareness and appreciation of the history, heritage and ongoing tradition of pottery making in North Carolina, it features examples of works from across the state and across centuries of time. With wood-fired kilns on the premises, the NC Pottery Center offers educational programs that include lectures, demonstrations and classes.
