During the war, NORTH CAROLINA participated in every major naval offensive in the Pacific area of operations and earned 15 battle stars.

Now, the NORTH CAROLINA rests proudly on the Cape Fear River, a testament to the bravery of those who sailed on her and a memorial to all who fought and died for America’s freedom in World War II. Experience the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA, and feel the history of that era come alive.
