Airborne & Special Ops Museum

With dramatic architecture and interactive exhibits, the Army's Airborne & Special Operations museum in downtown Fayetteville takes an in-depth look at the training, skills, and deployment of the brave men and women who have been a part of these elite army units, from the beginnings of paratroop units in 1940 through Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond. The museum is free and open to the public, and includes a large-screen movie theater and a motion simulator designed to give visitors a feel for what the Army's finest are trained to do.
