God's Country: Hickory Nut Falls at Chimney Rock State Park

Fall colors are beginning to frame the 404-foot-tall Hickory Nut Falls, the 2nd highest waterfall on the east coast, located in Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park. Peak colors are expected around Chimney Rock & Lake Lure from mid-October through early November. More info & fall photos at chimneyrockpark.com.
