This was the absolute best scottish festival I have attended other than going to Scotland some years back. The music at the 2010 event was excellent, sad to see some of them didnt come back this last summer...hopefully look forward to seeing them again in the future....the games were well run. I did not see as many authentic food vendors as typical at a scottish event...nor that many food vendors in general for an event of this size....but the food was ok.

Our first trip to the grandfather Mt Games. We were certainly impressed. Coming from New England we were surprised at the size of the event. You should all be proud of a job well done.

I am very proud to support these Games. You are doing a great job to make it fun as well as educational for everyone. Keep up the good work. Next year I expect to be there in person. SDC Texas (Northern)

Pretty good this year

Thank you for all the effort everyone has put into this largely volunteer event. Congratulations on a job well done. My family once again very much enjoyed GMHG and look forward to next year. The mixture of Celtic music and traditional games is wonderful. The clan tents provide a wealth of family information. The small venue music stages in the grove get our biggest compliment. If I had to find items to critic for improvement, two would be; the port-o-johns need to be cleaned and/or pumped more often, The carts driving back and forth all day and night constantly kept dust stirred up. Either access needs to be more limited to only carrying stock/disabled or a more effective regiment for watering the roads could be developed.Again, thank you for the wonderful time.
