Carolina Basketball Museum
There exists that breed of sports fan that just cannot get enough. You may know one such person, be it a colleague, friend, family member or perhaps it is you – a certified, card-carrying Tar Heel fanatic.
Well, if North Carolina basketball is your passion, then the Carolina Basketball Museum is definitely your shrine.
Located appropriately in Chapel Hill, home to the University of North Carolina, the Carolina Basketball Museum showcases the rich legacy and tradition of one of college basketball’s greatest teams ever – the UNC Tar Heels.
The Tar Heels began in 1911, and the museum chronicles their journey over the years with a series of photographs and memorabilia that will mesmerize true blue fans. Trophies, jerseys, balls and sneakers can be found from legendary players and coaches, including the great Michael Jordan to past legends such as Jerry Stackhouse and Larry Brown.
