Jeff Hursey's Sculpture Park
421 Pine Ridge Road, Mocksville, NC 27028
The Jeff Hursey Sculpture Park in Davie County is an extraordinary testament to creativity, ingenuity and a touch of whimsy. Hursey, a heating-and-air business owner with a penchant for chainsaw art, has transformed his wooded acreage into a playground of oversized sculptures that have captivated both locals and visitors from across the country.
The park gained fame when Hursey's 9-foot Bigfoot carving, complete with glowing red eyes, caused a viral stir, prompting 911 calls and even reaching national news. But the wonders don’t stop there. From a 20-foot-long Cedar tree to a life-sized Flintstone car and an enormous pirate ship, each piece reflects Hursey’s resourcefulness and imagination.
Open for exploration and photos, the park offers a charming glimpse into one man’s creative legacy and nature's toll on even the largest creations.
