The I-73/74 Visitor Centers are staffed and operated by the Randolph County Tourism Development Authority in cooperation with the NC Department of Transportation.
The visitor centers provide comprehensive information for the Randolph County communities of Archdale, Asheboro, Franklinville, Liberty, Ramseur, Randleman, Seagrove, Staley, and Trinity. You'll find details on local attractions such as the North Carolina Zoo, Creekside Park & Greenway, Petty Family Attractions, and Linbrook Heritage Estate. The centers are open 6 days a week (closed Tuesdays).
Inside, the centers showcase the best of the region:
- Seagrove Pottery: Explore over 60 displays featuring the work of Seagrove area pottery shops.
- Local History: See a tractor display from Neal's Industrial & Agricultural Museum in Trinity.
- Statewide Information: Pick up brochures and collateral materials covering attractions and events across North Carolina's coastal, Piedmont, and mountain regions, along with NCDOT road maps.
For your convenience, two additional buildings offer vending machines with a variety of snacks and drinks, and public restrooms are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
