On your way to the bustling Asheville area or its neighboring foothills towns in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this Welcome Center (located at Mile Marker 6) is ready to welcome you daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. It's closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
