House of Mugs

At the end of a gravel road in Collettsville is the incredible House of Mugs. Also known as the Collettsville Cup House, this place is a testament to one man's singular hobby. Over two decades, Avery Sisk adorned the cabin with an estimated 30,000 coffee mugs, each with its own story. It all began in 2000 with a flea market find: 750 mugs for $15. What started as a quirky decoration evolved into a sprawling mosaic covering the house, fences and even nearby trees. Visitors from around the world have contributed to the collection, adding their own mugs to any available space. Though Mr. Sisk died in 2023, the family still welcomes guests to explore the property in his memory and share in the charm of this ever-growing display.
