Scott LetchworthOct. 30 Report - William B. Umstead State Park

Oct. 30, 2013, Foliage in William B. Umstead State Park.

Fall color change is happening at William B. Umstead State Park! We are seeing many beautiful reds and yellows.

The next two weekends should be excellent times to visit the park. We have miles of trails, camping, picnicking and fishing opportunities to enjoy. Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons in North Carolina and is a great time to visit William B. Umstead State Park.

Some of our upcoming events include "Salamanders Where Art Thou" on Nov. 14, "Backyard Birds" on Nov. 16, "Coyotes" on Nov. 19 and "Millin Around" on Nov. 30. Reservations are required and can be made by calling our office at (919) 571-4170. Check our events calendar for more information.
