Skip SicklerOct. 21 Report - Grandfather Mountain

Oct. 21, 2013, Floyd Gragg and his wife's roadside stand of jams, jellies, honey and apple butter.

Looking for seasonal fall flavors? Floyd Gragg and his wife have set up their roadside stand of jams, jellies, honey and apple butter. It has been located on U.S. 221 just north of the Grandfather Mountain entrance for decades.

The beautiful sunny weather continues today in the High Country. The temperature dipped to the upper 30s overnight at the top of Grandfather Mountain. Fall color is the prettiest right now around 3,000 feet. Leaves are making their way to the ground at elevations above 4,000 feet.
