Celebrating the region's wine heritage, this fall festival brings together thousands of visitors for a day of wine, food, music and local culture. Sample wines from Yadkin Valley wineries, enjoy live entertainment, shop local vendors and savor local food while surrounded by a community that takes pride in its vineyards and traditions. Whether you're a dedicated wine lover or looking for a fall day trip, the Grape Festival offers a taste of wine country at its best. Come discover why the Yadkin Valley is worth raising a glass to, and make the festival part of your fall tradition!
Gates open at 11 a.m., with rock trio Mellow Gold taking the entertainment stage at noon, followed by Salem Soul & the High Point Horns at 3 p.m.
Browse local craft vendors offering everything from handmade jewelry, clothing and quilts to a flower bouquet bar. Enjoy a variety of festival favorites, from BBQ, sandwiches and chicken and waffles to lemonade, fresh-popped popcorn and more.
Participating wineries include: Shelton Vineyards, Native Vines Winery, Weathervane Winery, Haze Gray Vineyards, RagApple Lassie Vineyards, Hanover Park Vineyard, Shadow Springs Vineyards, Windsor Run Cellars and Carolina Heritage Vineyard.
Performances and all other festival activities are free to attend. Tickets are only required for wine tasting. Presale ticket cost is $25 and day-of tickets are $30.
