The Winter Ramble

Experience the inaugural Winter Ramble, a destination-wide celebration of Appalachian mountain music. Across one lively winter weekend, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and attractions, throughout Henderson County will host authentic performances—from old-time string bands and bluegrass to gospel, folk ballads, and country blues. Unlike a single-site outdoor festival, the Winter Ramble invites visitors to ramble from venue to venue, building their own weekend of music—all indoors, all winter.

Festival highlights include indoor performances across Henderson County with genres spanning old-time, bluegrass, newgrass, folk ballads, gospel/shape-note, fiddle tunes, country blues, and more. There will also be workshops and jam sessions.

Some events will be free and some will be ticketed; venues must also allow a cover at the door where applicable.
