Come visit historic downtown West Jefferson in beautiful Ashe County for the 27th Annual Christmas in July Festival.

Friday night, July 5, finds live music featuring the best in bluegrass, old time, gospel and country music from The Buck Haggard Band and Wolf Creek Band, street dance & food vendors from 6-10pm.

Saturday, July 6, brings the full festival to life with arts & crafts, music acts featured all day long, civil war reenactments, food and fun, fun, fun from 9am - 7pm!

Christmas in July is a free-admission event
 featuring the very best in traditional mountain music and 
handmade crafts from throughout the northwest mountains
 of North Carolina. Also, don't miss the annual Civil War re-enactment held throughout the day at the West Jefferson Municipal Park. Nowhere else will you find such an excellent 
array of local and regional music, food vendors, fun and festivities for the entire family than at 
Christmas in July in downtown West Jefferson!

There will also be a Community Stage representing talent from the local community including dancing, clogging and music!

From Charlotte/Statesville/Elkin (I-77 Corridor) - Exit Interstate 77 onto US Hwy 421 North towards Wilkesboro/Boone, NC. Follow US Hwy 421 North approximately 44 miles from Interstate 77. At Deep Gap, NC (just past the Blue Ridge Parkway overpass at the top of the mountain) turn right onto US Hwy 221 North towards West Jefferson and follow for approximately 12 miles until you reach the stoplight. At the stoplight, turn left onto US Hwy 221 Business and follow for approximately 1.5 miles which takes you into downtown West Jefferson.

From Raleigh/Greensboro/Winston-Salem - Follow Interstate 40 West. Exit onto US Hwy 421 North towards Yadkinville/North Wilkesboro. Continue to follow US Hwy 421 North for approximately 64 miles towards Boone. At Deep Gap, NC (just past the Blue Ridge Parkway overpass at the top of the mountain) turn right onto US Hwy 221 North towards West Jefferson and follow for approximately 12 miles until you reach the stoplight. At the stoplight, turn left onto US Hwy 221 Business and follow for approximately 1.5 miles which takes you into downtown West Jefferson.

From Johnson City, TN area/Interstate 26- Follow US Hwy 321 South approximately 35-40 miles towards Boone, NC. From Boone, NC, take US Hwy 421 South approximately 10-12 miles towards Wilkesboro, NC. In Deep Gap, NC, Turn left onto US Hwy 221 North towards West Jefferson and follow for approximately 12 miles until you reach the stoplight. At the stoplight, turn left onto US Hwy 221 Business and follow for approximately 1.5 miles which takes you into downtown West Jefferson.
